About me

I was born in Busan, South Korea in 1972 and had lived there with my parents until I went to Inha University in 1992.

I got my B.S. (1997) and M.S. (2000) degree in the Civil Engineering at Inha University and I moved in US. In 2008, I obtained Ph.D. in the Structural Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology.

During my study, I married my wife and we moved to Boston after she got her Ph.D. degree. And, I set up a finite element engineering consulting company in Boston.

The company was started doing analysis/consult finite element models but it provides other services inspired by my interests and skills. Also, I want to keep expanding the services which the company provides.
